Welcome
The Alexandria Ballet prioritizes technique within a positive individualized environment to develop dancers with a solid foundation for professional study and lifelong enjoyment. The School has been training dancers in the Alexandria area for over twenty years and has delighted audiences with youth-focused productions of The Nutcracker and other new ballets when we were at the Athenaeum in Old Town, Alexandria. The School is divided into three divisions to teach students in age appropriate groups. I believe in academic recitals, in which training and vocabulary developed during the school year are displayed, rather than a parade of costumes soon to be outgrown. We have individual recitals for each group of students on the last class of May where friends, family and cameras are welcome. Please visit the other pages of our site for more information. I hope to see you in the studio!
